Laughter with Mom Violy, Carmina, Ruel, Neria and Marissa

Mom Violy wanted to get a haircut from Ruel from Hairliners Salon in Ali Mall. She was saying if they are not too busy wanted to get a pedicure.  Ruel had introduce Marissa to Mom Violy who can do her pedicure. Neria had approached me saying she has no client. I was able to get my facial done while Mom Violy was busy having her beauty treatments. Mom Violy had introduced me to Marissa saying they wanted to add each other in Facebook. They had no clue how to do it. Both Mom Violy and Marissa handed their phone to me.  Ruel had informed Marissa that I am doing Poppo Live.  Marissa asked for some pointers how to use the Poppo Live application on her phone. I taught her the basics found out she is in an agency.  I don't understand why her agency is not giving her tips how to use Poppo Live.  Ruel had informed me he would also like to join Poppo Live just been so busy from his work. My mom always asks people how old do you think my daughter is when she goes out. Sometimes they just look at you and try to guess what your real age is. No one has ever guessed the right age. 

I believe you should be happy and it is a compliment that you don't look the age you really are.

I am not the type who will lie what age I am because I know from the inside and outside I don't feel the age I am.

When you keep a wine bottle it will age and the more the taste will be better as they aged.

To us it is almost the same thing the way you take care of yourself is what you will gain a better look at yourself.

Just like anyone else we have reach a point when we ate what we wanted to eat. We gain all the fat and calories.

When we take a picture and review the pictures we see this person who we don't want to be. We begin to try and change the way we look by limit the food we eat.

It is true for those are skinny can still have health problems. People who are too health conscious are the ones who leave the earth. I have known a lot of people who was so health conscious and they are the ones who get some sort of illness.

Having bacteria is normal if we don't have some sort of bacteria in our system is also bad. I remember when my son was attending school and the nun told me there are parents who raised their kids not having bacteria in their system. Those are the kids who get sick easily and have asthma. For the kids who do touch bacteria are less to get sick because their body is immunizing to it.

I don’t believe in diet pills they can harm you. What I do believe to change the pattern of what you eat. How much portion of food you eat is the key of being healthy in your life.

As you start to train yourself gradually you will see the difference the way you eat. You will begin to eat less portion of your food and you will feel full easily.

It takes years to do this so don’t expect over night or months your body will change.

You reach a certain age and you see yourself life starts to change around you. Menopause is a part of your new life and you have read so many things that can affect your body and the performance. You realize you are no longer young from the inside.

I am lucky I don’t get hot flashes what people tell me. I don’t gain weight as well maybe because I was able to manage myself the way I ate at an early stage.

Everyone fears to look old because they know being old changes everything from the mind and health.

This is why I say it is better to start years early before you do reach the big 50. Believe me it works to do it early once you reach the 50 everyone will wonder what is your secret in life.

This is how I looked before weighing 120 pounds. My actual weight for a 5’4 is 115 pounds.


Secret key of going on a diet is not to follow the keto balance out what you eat gradually. I had tried the keto and I became high cholesterol when I took my lab work. I was even shock and thought I was eating what people said to do.

The secret key is balance the portion of what you consume on a daily basis for example if you are a rice eater start to limit how much you eat until you remove the rice completely.

Do not stop yourself from food that you’re use to eating right away. You need to do baby step and remove it completely.

It is true you need carbohydrates and sugar in your body. Just limit how much portion you will eat in one day.

Try to remove your soda completely that also include diet soda try to replace it with something else that is healthy for example I drink kombucha once a day and I also alternate it with something else.

The more you urinate is healthy it removes all the toxic in your body.

You are in menopause you will urinate more often then what you usually do this is a pattern of your new life. There is nothing wrong with you, but it is best to have an ultrasound to see if there is if you feel it is not normal for you.

I was able to get tested and I am normal. It is just menopause and I have no sickness.

Safety is always best to check if you are not feeling good. You want to live longer and be healthy.

Limit how much coffee you drink. I am not a coffee drinker. I can drink half a cup a day and sometimes none at all.

I had tried drinking no coffee for one month and I notice I lost more weight from it. Everyone might work differently than others.

Too many fruits is also bad for you I have an Aunt who believe eating only fruits was healthy she became diabectic afterwards.

Limit how much portion of fruits you eat in one day. 

Key of success is always limit how much you eat. Give yourself a goal how much you want to loose.

Always think positive and stay away from alcohol it makes your stomach bigger especially beer. You want a beer belly and people will assume your pregnant when you are not.

I remember long time ago I was going to enter Enchanted Kingdom Amusement Park in the Philippines and the person assumed I was pregnant because I was fat. He said, Mam you are not allowed to ride any rollercoaster due you are pregnant. 

To that moment that is an insult when you are not pregnant at all. People judge the way you look and they presume you are when you are not.

I never had that problem when I was young as you aged you gain the weight not knowing you have become bigger than usual.

I use to be a size 8 in womens in clothes. Now, I went back to a size 6 in womens. That is a big change I have made in my life I only realized this when I was standing next to my mom over the weekend when we went out to her hometown.

Sometimes even people comment how you look you don't realize it when you take a picture and you are standing next to someone who you use to big like them. You realize wow you look good than you begin to appreciate the hard work it took for you to look the way you do.
