It’s payday, the perfect time to treat ourselves, especially with the ever-changing weather in the Philippines. For fans of traditional Pinoy desserts , there’s now a new twist to enjoy your puto bumbong . Carmina ordered’ Wendy's Philippines ’ latest offering—the Putobumbong Frosty —available in two sizes: 6oz for 87.85 pesos ($1.49) or a tub for 125.35 pesos ($2.12). She opted for the tub, skipping the smaller size entirely. The classic puto bumbong, made from purple sticky rice with grated cheese and latik sauce , gets an upgrade in Wendy’s version, which adds leche flan , rice crispies, and creamy vanilla frosty. A sweet treat perfect for those with a sweet tooth. Carmina preferred it served separately, as the puto bumbong is hard and chewy to eat. I guess I’m just used to having it without ice cream. That’s just my preference—others might enjoy it as it is. NOT SPONSORED. Check out my channel where you can find my videos at Carmina Lifestyle YouTube Channel ...
As I would glance from my window from our hotel room I was curious to know what is that building that looked like a castle. I had showed it to my best friend as we're talking using video call during my vacation.
As we become curious our mind doesn't stop until we find the answer that keeps wandering over and over again.
I went outside alone without my mom as she stayed inside her hotel room.
I had crossed the street from the hotel and was able to see it up close.
I found out it was actually a convention where they hold musical performance as I saw students enter inside and their parents stayed in the car as they wait their child to finish their classes.
Inside the convention
I had entered a gate behind me.
After I saw the sign, I found out later you can walk at the Royal Botanical Garden to reach to the Opera House and Darling Harbour you would be doing a lot of walking to enjoy the garden.
There wasn't that many people walking where I was headed too.
I decided to enter inside to see what was in the center of the bamboo tree I didn't want to scare myself off. Does my face expression show how I feel inside as I take my picture?
When I had entered the middle the bamboo trees kept moving back and forth probably from
the wind. Actually, there was no wind it was too sunny outside and I didn't feel it.
Am I scarying you imagine no people at sight where you are standing close to the bamboo trees all I did was take picture feeling it looked so cool.
You can just picture yourself being somewhere other than the Royal Botanical Garden.
I kept walking and discovered the Opera House the walk is fifteen minutes from the hotel.
Heading back to the hotel from looking at the Opera House
I had discovered while walking on the right side saw something that had catches my eye
I had passed by the convention center and saw some people entering another gate and my curiosity went on thinking what was inside the building that people we're entering inside.
I saw something wooden across the street and decided to check it out and saw this:
This took me two hours to walk around in the journey of curiosity, and it made me realize something on my own as I walked alone in the area not seeing many people in areas, I would walk in.
I didn't feel scared as I was talking to my close friends while I was taking a video during my journey.
I realize that being alone is not as scary as I thought it would be maybe this is what I had feared the most in my life.
Now, I realize I can really do it.
The outcome of my walk not realizing I was walking for two hours on my own. I really never paid attention to the time maybe because I was too curious to see what I saw across from the outside across my hotel room.
I wanted to see what was near the water, the castle and botanic garden and realize there are two parts.
Now, my journey has ended in Sydney, Australia I am sure there will be more travel adventures as we capture something that catches our eye.
