Carmina says Bebang’s halo-halo is summer in a spoon — but is it the real deal or just pretty colors in a cup?

Since last year, Mom Violy and Carmina had been wanting to try the much-talked-about  Bebang's Halo-Halo , but even when we passed by, the timing was never right. Mom Violy kept saying she’d wait until a branch opened closer to us. Then Becky told Carmina there was one along her commute route to work. The best part was that the Tomas Morato branch in Quezon City had just opened. When we arrived at CTTM Square , we found plenty of restaurants on the second floor. While checking the menu, we let the customers behind us order first. Mom Violy asked them for recommendations, and they suggested the Presidential for first timers. Unlike other places, Bebang’s Halo-Halo doesn’t have size options—everything comes in a standard size, making ordering easier. Seniors and PWDs get a discount per order, and you’re given something that lights up when your halo-halo is ready for pickup. Service was quick, so the wait wasn’t long at all. Each order comes in its own green plastic bag with a table...

Senior Ball

Going to a prom is a big deal when you are in your teens in high school when someone ask you to be their date. In this generation going with a guy is no longer important you can go with your female or guys friends and don't require you to have a date.

The generation has changed and we are less stressful finding someone to ask you out on a prom or you having to ask someone to take you on that special day.

I remember when I went to my Senior Ball my mom place me on a blind date she had matched me up with one of her friend who had a son.

The problem being matched up by your parents you are not interested in that person and you find out later he is not a guy. He is what you called, gay. He never went out of his closet. I only found out getting to know him during the night of my Senior Ball.

I didn't go alone with him on my Senior Ball. I went along with my other friends who we're also matched up by their parents. So, I wasn't alone.

My dress was made from the Philippines. My mom had picked it out for me the only thing I had to do is wear the puffy dress that I felt was so huge when I sat down.

During our time our mom was the one excited us to attend our Senior Ball by dressing up with formal dress that was hard to walk around and taking too much space.

Dresses can be bought in 168 Shopping Mall in the Philippines. The dresses ranges from PHP 2,000 ($40.00) and up. You can find dresses that are already been made and they can adjust the size to fit your body frame.

It is best to buy your formal dresses one month early before your schedule Junior and Senior Prom because the prices of the dresses will go up due to peak season.

They also sell suits for men with different styles and color.
