Laughter with Mom Violy, Carmina, Ruel, Neria and Marissa

Mom Violy wanted to get a haircut from Ruel from Hairliners Salon in Ali Mall. She was saying if they are not too busy wanted to get a pedicure.  Ruel had introduce Marissa to Mom Violy who can do her pedicure. Neria had approached me saying she has no client. I was able to get my facial done while Mom Violy was busy having her beauty treatments. Mom Violy had introduced me to Marissa saying they wanted to add each other in Facebook. They had no clue how to do it. Both Mom Violy and Marissa handed their phone to me.  Ruel had informed Marissa that I am doing Poppo Live.  Marissa asked for some pointers how to use the Poppo Live application on her phone. I taught her the basics found out she is in an agency.  I don't understand why her agency is not giving her tips how to use Poppo Live.  Ruel had informed me he would also like to join Poppo Live just been so busy from his work. I told everyone to gather and take pictures together since we've haven't seen each other for a lo

Grand Parents

The new generation having a family of your own is different when I had my own children.

The new generation babies and toddlers are dependent on tablets and phone from their parents.

Children in this generation fight more and they are tough to bully their own parents.

I have seen my employee who had a daughter living at our home. Her daughter had embarrassed her own mother in front of other co-workers and their boss.

I have never seen someone disrespect the elderly and scream out in public area to get the way they want from their parents.

I have seen parents so afraid of their own children and give in what they want.

I am not like that I want my children to respect the elderly because one day they will reach to the same level as they get older.

I had a Grandmother she said, one day you too will be deaf, forget and aged like us. I will be laughing at you up in heaven.

There was a time in my life my co-worker Ruth asked, me if I can take care of her granddaughter while she was busy working. I said, yes not thinking if I would be ready to take care of someone else’s baby who I never met.

Her daughter Gia brought her daughter to the house with a shoulder bag filled of her Jenny’s stuff. Gia left her for two hours while she went off to prepare Jenny’s future baptism.
I had placed Jenny on the bed and she just stare at me thinking who this stranger who keeps looking at me. I was talking to her in English and Tagalog because either way she kept staring at me. Jenny kept cooing and making noise as I kept talking to her.

I had removed some of her clothing she was sweating from having so many layers of clothing when she brought in. I had checked her shoulder bag and found there was no other clothing except one that was the same outfit she came in with and it wouldn’t help in her situation.

Her bag didn’t have the proper clothing and there was no bib as she kept drooling when she kept laughing at me.

As I was feeding her she wouldn’t drink from her bottle and Ruth was able to help me as she was being called, in from her boss.

Jenny began crying looking for her Grandmother. I had to figure how to entertain her from looking for Ruth. I began taking videos of her on my phone and took pictures. We took selfie pictures and notice she was so quiet.

I found out later she does that with her mom Gia. She is use to taking pictures on the phone.
I would replay her video to her and she would just stare thinking who this baby that looks exactly like me.

To that moment I realized I would be so old by the time my children we’re all grown up when they have their own family.

I see Grandparents taking care of their Grandchildren now I know the feeling when they say they get exhausted easily when they have Grandkids in their home. You are over whelmed.
