It’s been months since Carmina last posted on her Google Maps. I started doing it just for fun, exploring new places to dine and travel, and sharing those spots with others. Back in 2017, I wasn’t even blogging yet. Over the years, I received numerous email updates about changes, but in September, the removal of followers on Google Maps felt particularly strange. There’s no point in complaining about it. I decided not to close my account, as it wasn’t an option, but I did delete all the photos I had contributed over the years. I have fond memories of seeing which photos were popular and had hoped to share them with you. It was surprising to see how many views my pictures had accumulated. While deleting them, I noticed that many restaurants and bakeries no longer exist, with some marked as unknown on the map. Most of my photos were from the pandemic period, a time when I could fully express myself and write about the food I enjoyed. Let's take a trip down memory lane with Carmina th...
What happens when your employee decide to quit for so many
years you have known her. When the time comes she always backs out on her word.
For so many years she has been talking wanting to quit it never really push
through.
One day that she really decides to exit that door and leave
everything behind. Today, it has happened to me our employee who has worked for
us for so many years decided to leave us.
This time I seemed more prepared since she has always told
me many years that have passed by.
I told my employee this is never a good bye we can still
communicate with each other. I am not the type of person when you decided to
quit I will disconnect with you. I will still communicate with you. We have
been family for such a long time.
She was so worried that I won’t attend her granddaughter’s
baptism since I was chosen one of the godparents. I had told her that that
doesn’t conflict with me. Your grand daughter has no reason for me to not be
one of the godparents. No matter what she is not affected of you and your
employer. Yes, I work for them but it doesn’t affect our friendship.
For some many employees who have left my in-law’s business I
am still in contact with them. I feel they are still someone I know and shouldn’t
disconnect with them because they no longer work with us.
You gain more friends and friends always come and go. No
matter if it is from non working relationship either way that is how life runs.
You lose them and gain more employee.
We have no right holding them to quit their job. Anyone is
always welcome to return back to their employer. We have a lot of employee who
have left and came back realized the world out there is difficult to get a good
high salary income.
They might not start the same salary they started off, but
better than nothing.
