Tired of the new rules, Carmina closed her Google Maps account — what pushed her over the edge?

It’s been months since Carmina last posted on her Google Maps. I started doing it just for fun, exploring new places to dine and travel, and sharing those spots with others. Back in 2017, I wasn’t even blogging yet. Over the years, I received numerous email updates about changes, but in September, the removal of followers on Google Maps felt particularly strange. There’s no point in complaining about it. I decided not to close my account, as it wasn’t an option, but I did delete all the photos I had contributed over the years. I have fond memories of seeing which photos were popular and had hoped to share them with you. It was surprising to see how many views my pictures had accumulated. While deleting them, I noticed that many restaurants and bakeries no longer exist, with some marked as unknown on the map. Most of my photos were from the pandemic period, a time when I could fully express myself and write about the food I enjoyed. Let's take a trip down memory lane with Carmina th...

Hokkaido Ramen Santouka

Today, we had no school due to the taal volcano as we are walking around U.P. Town Center you will notice lots of people are wearing mask to prevent inhaling the air.

The weather is drizzling and I am wearing a rain coat to prevent getting sick while other people are passing by me with no jacket.

My eye’s we’re everywhere when I saw so many places to eat and couldn’t decide where to eat. My stomach was already growling and I needed to think fast to build back my strength.
I came across and found something I decided to eat at that I have never tried before I figure this is my chance to write it up and put it in my blog.

This restaurant reminded me when I had traveled in Japan in my previous years.

Hokkaido Ramen Santouka is not just a ramen restaurant they have different type of Japanese to choose from and I was able to check it out for myself. My tummy has a happy camper.

For my appetizers I was able to try my favorite Kurobuta Gyoza with black pork dumpling for PHP 230.00 ($4.60)

I had also ordered Salmon Aburi with Unagi Sushi (Unagi, Salmon abun and Teriyaki sauce) for the price of PHP 310.00 ($6.20)

The popular dish chicken katsu with sake chanan (grilled salmon fried rice)

This rice doesn't taste like salmon more like crab, but the rice is still yummy.

This is a popular ramen they say is a signature flavor best seller Shio Ramen made with pork. There are two sizes for the bowl for regular PHP 385.00 ($7.70) and Large PHP 445.00 ($8.90). Honestly my family said, the large can fill up your stomach and won't be able to finish it all up. He wishes he just ordered a regular.

Signature Flavor Best Seller Shio Ramen

The Original Shio Ramen

Something for your sweet tooth drown it with cola float that looks like something else, but my son said, taste really good.
