It’s been months since Carmina last posted on her Google Maps. I started doing it just for fun, exploring new places to dine and travel, and sharing those spots with others. Back in 2017, I wasn’t even blogging yet. Over the years, I received numerous email updates about changes, but in September, the removal of followers on Google Maps felt particularly strange. There’s no point in complaining about it. I decided not to close my account, as it wasn’t an option, but I did delete all the photos I had contributed over the years. I have fond memories of seeing which photos were popular and had hoped to share them with you. It was surprising to see how many views my pictures had accumulated. While deleting them, I noticed that many restaurants and bakeries no longer exist, with some marked as unknown on the map. So often living in a tropical
climate we need a curtain to block off the sun from our eyes as we enter our
bedroom. Even though you have curtains it still gets hot in our rooms when we
are still using air conditioner.
How do you keep your bedroom from absorbing
heat from your window?
- Blackout curtains that absorbs the heat out from your
room
Where can you purchase it in the
Philippines?
- Available in Tutuban in the second floor for the home
How much does it cost?
- It all depends on the size of your window
Tip:
- It is best to measure your window and give allowance
from the top and the bottom of your floor.
- Measure the width of your window for the window rod to
hold on to your curtain and most rods are extendable.
Most curtain rods come in variety of
color from white, black gold and silver.
There are varieties of colors to
choose on your blackout curtains.
I've seen in the internet they also
offer this is the States and can also be used in your area to remove the heat
from your own home.
I get irritated when the sun enters
from the curtain moving and I found an inexpensive to have all curtain drape
connect to one another by placing both ends of the curtains and using a binding
clip on each end.
It will look like this:
This way
even if it is sunny outside our eyes doesn’t get affected and our bedroom stays
cool without the heat coming to our bedroom.
