Tired of the new rules, Carmina closed her Google Maps account — what pushed her over the edge?

It’s been months since Carmina last posted on her Google Maps. I started doing it just for fun, exploring new places to dine and travel, and sharing those spots with others. Back in 2017, I wasn’t even blogging yet. Over the years, I received numerous email updates about changes, but in September, the removal of followers on Google Maps felt particularly strange. There’s no point in complaining about it. I decided not to close my account, as it wasn’t an option, but I did delete all the photos I had contributed over the years. I have fond memories of seeing which photos were popular and had hoped to share them with you. It was surprising to see how many views my pictures had accumulated. While deleting them, I noticed that many restaurants and bakeries no longer exist, with some marked as unknown on the map. Most of my photos were from the pandemic period, a time when I could fully express myself and write about the food I enjoyed. Let's take a trip down memory lane with Carmina th...

Wordscapes

They say, when you get older you need to enhance your memory not just on taking herbal vitamins. You need to make your brain active as much as possible in order to remember recall words.

My mother in-law was playing wordscape from her phone. She got stuck on a certain level. She was asking for help since she was on the same level for hours just for one more word to move up another level.

Her grandson decided to help her out by getting her phone from her. The grandson went online and search the cheat code for the level she was in.

As he had answered the word to his Grand Mother. She said, you are so smart how did you know what that word was. I was stuck for one hour and I couldn't figure what the word was.

He laughed at her not saying anything.

My mother in-law was playing the next level and it started getting more difficult for her to find the right words.

She asked, her grandson who helped her earlier. He than showed her where she got the answer.

From that moment on my mother in-law scrolled her grandson telling him that is cheating. I don't want to do it that way.

I want to figure out the word on my own so I can challenge myself.

In life people find the short cut to solve a problem when they are having a difficult time. In this matter playing a game and looking for the answers in the Internet is not the correct way.
