Insects Living In Your Home

The only thing I really don't like living in the Philippines when there are cockroaches that comes flying around after it has rained outside. It enters your home, the worst time it comes when you are having a meal downstairs with your family.

I remember one time my sister in-law was screaming from nowhere. I was wondering what it is the noise. I saw the cockroaches flying around. I couldn't stop laughing at her.

I am not afraid of cockroaches.

I remember one time when I was single I was visiting some one's home during our summer vacation. My sister and I wanted to get a bite to eat for midnight. We just arrived from the Philippines and being jet lag we got hungry in a different time zone.

My sister and I walked to the kitchen that we went to visit. When we had entered the kitchen and turned all the lights. We saw the whole kitchen floor was filled of cockroaches. My sister and I turned off the lights and we lost our appetite.

We don't only have cockroaches there are other insects that comes in mind. We have lizard that comes walking from the wall.

One time our driver was telling us a story that there was a lizard that came from the vent of the air conditioner from the van he was driving. He said. he has phobia from them since he was a child. He said, the lizard went inside his pants as he was driving.

During that time he was driving someone and he couldn't let them know what was inside his pants. He couldn't concentrate in his driving. Finally, the lizard came out of his pants and went to the back seat. His passenger also screamed and found out they we're also afraid of it.

Mosquito love people who just arrived from the Philippines. To them their blood is different.

There are also rats in the house. They are not the small mice that your use to seeing. There are huge look like a cat.

I remember when we had a nanny for the boys and we rang the bell from downstairs. Liza went up and she asked what we wanted. I told her to throw out the sticky paper that had mice stuck in the trap. She ran away and telling me she has phobia with mice when she was young. I ran and followed with her carrying the paper on my hand.

Liza than explained to me when she was young she was playing and a mice pass by her face when she was young ever since during that time she had phobia on mice.

The Filipino have a saying, if you kill or catch a mice they will put holes in your clothes to put revenge on you.
