My aunt instead of calling her husband's real name. She had slipped and called him Oppa in Korean it means older brother. It is someone who is older than you can be used for your boyfriend, husband or any one who is older than you in not romantic way.

So people follow the trends in what they see when they watch Korean drama. They also copy what clothes they are wearing to be hip in style. There are so many Korean products in the Philippines that are inexpensive in other places due to we are closer to the Asia country.
