My Experience Starting My Own Blog

I learn a lot of things when I started making this blog. I read a lot of articles and watched videos from YouTube letting people know it takes six to eight months to be accepted by Google AdSense.

At first I was feeling discourage while reading tips from other people.

Yes, it is true you need to purchase your own domain name.

I took the courage to purchase my own domain name from Google Domain.

You need to figure out what is the best domain name that suit the website you will always write about. I picked Carmina Lifestyle it is based on myself with all my experience.

I read it is best to pick .com based on .net or .org.

The reason why I wanted to write this is to let people know don't always believe what people say in the Internet.

My reasons is they said, not to add videos to your blog and put it later when you get accepted by Google AdSense.

Actually, I did the opposite I placed videos in my blogs from places I had traveled. I even placed website link where places I have been too.

Guess what? My blog had 79 written post and I was just accepted less than one month and a half.

Never feel discourage in what you want the world to know about you. Be free and write what you feel deep inside.

Keep thinking positive.

I had family members discouraging me why I wanted to have a blog. I didn't let myself down because I felt there was something out for me to reach out to the public.

I want people to know what kind of experiences I have to share.

Just like anyone I have no website experience. Not knowing how to put codes on your site is a really hard task to figure it out. Good thing there are people on YouTube giving tips and advice.

The hardest part is when they speak a different language I would just follow what ever they we're clicking on their computer to understand how they had put the codes.

The first step is writing a blog from Blogger. There are other sites to use. I find this one easier to use. I read if you use Blogger it is easy to have a Google Domain and link to Google AdSense.

Before you buy a Google Domain make sure you live with in the countries they accept. For example if you live in the Philippines there is no Google AdSense. But, if you live in another country you can use that country.

Like for example I am temporary living in the Philippines, but I grew up in the United States. My location is from the United States not the Philippines.

I thought having a website would be easy. Actually, it is not. I am not a professional, but I was able to figure it out with common sense. Yes, it takes a lot of patience and give yourself even time to over whelmed yourself.

I had set a goal to myself to make sure by end the end of this year I wanted everything to be running in time for the next coming year. I was lucky it came earlier than I had expected.

I wanted to share you tips I have gone through looking for it online and watching videos that had helped me a lot.

I felt I placed myself in a home study for something I had challenge myself to learn on my own.

Even if I had no one really supporting at my side at home. I still felt I wanted to prove myself to them and show I can succeed.

I stayed in my room the whole day when I use to hang downstairs and talk with the employee in our home.

They have notice ever since I started my blog I had no more connection with the world that was going on in the house.

I wanted to finish my goal and make sure I kept myself busy to accomplish something on my own.

I felt this a great achievement on my own and yet still can earn money on something I had put all my effort in.

First of all once you start writing your blog it is best to ask permission from your family and friends if they don't mind being apart of your blog. I have some friends who doesn't want to be in it. They feel they don't want to be apart of the public eye. I understand them and it is their own private life.

It is best to write a blog when your mind is all settle down and you have the passion to write something that just pops in your head.

Never copy someone Else's blog that is a big "NO".

Learn to write your own feeling down and write as if you are talking to the audience.

Check online what really sells for people to drive to read your blog. Do you own research and you too will learn something out of it.

I learn having a blog is an every day challenge a new topic to always cover and write about.
