It’s payday, the perfect time to treat ourselves, especially with the ever-changing weather in the Philippines. For fans of traditional Pinoy desserts , there’s now a new twist to enjoy your puto bumbong . Carmina ordered’ Wendy's Philippines ’ latest offering—the Putobumbong Frosty —available in two sizes: 6oz for 87.85 pesos ($1.49) or a tub for 125.35 pesos ($2.12). She opted for the tub, skipping the smaller size entirely. The classic puto bumbong, made from purple sticky rice with grated cheese and latik sauce , gets an upgrade in Wendy’s version, which adds leche flan , rice crispies, and creamy vanilla frosty. A sweet treat perfect for those with a sweet tooth. Carmina preferred it served separately, as the puto bumbong is hard and chewy to eat. I guess I’m just used to having it without ice cream. That’s just my preference—others might enjoy it as it is. NOT SPONSORED. Check out my channel where you can find my videos at Carmina Lifestyle YouTube Channel ...
All my life I have lived in California when I was young. I had moved to the Philippines where the custom and culture are very different from how I was accustom.
Living in the Philippines is quite different. I had to adjust myself from the tropical climate. It took me one year living in a climate that doesn't comes in four season.
While living here you have to deal not just the heat as well putting off lotion to take away the mosquito from you.
The traffic is different they don't obey by stop light. Sometimes they have a police officer standing in the middle of the street giving ways for each way to pass and cross the intersection.
Not like in any other country we have color coding in days we are not allowed to use our vehicle.
After I have lived here for many years I realized the Philippines is the best place to live or come and visit if you are a tourist.
The best time to visit the Philippines is on the month of January and February the weather is cooler and the airfare are inexpensive. The month of March and April is the high temperature where it is very humid. The month of May to October is the rainy season and we have typhoons during these months. November and December you can experience the spirit of Christmas. I should warn you traffic can be really difficult to come and go different places especially in Manila.
In the Philippines they bring out Christmas decoration early as when we start our bear month.
If, you don't speak Tagalog no problem we speak and understand English.
Here in the Philippines like any country there are places to visit not just beach or tropical area. We also have places to hike and enjoy the nature.
I have a lot of friends who have requested me to write my own blog based on my travel experiences, recipes, tips in any lifestyle and etc.
Thank you for reading my blog!
