In every childhood people grow up with different ways of discipline from our parents. We may have good or bad memories that keep our guard down.
We tend to bring that up when you have your own kids.
There are people like us who want to break that tradition and give our kids a greater opportunity that our parents couldn't give us when we're young.
Like anyone else I didn't grow up with a perfect family. There are up and downs just like a roller coaster. You tend to experience from the right and wrong.

Growing up in the 80's was different we didn't have social media, phones, video games stuff what our kids have right now.

We didn't have computer during our time. We had typewriter to do our essay.
We used Encyclopedia to do research. I remember my parents buying us a set to study at home.
We played board games to kill our time. Now, kids have gadgets to do those things.
I remember when I was a kid I had played outside with my neighbor making a house out of card board boxes.
Our childhood was simple and now our kids are wearing headsets and their lifestyle is very different on how we grew up.
I remember not having enough allowance to buy a pair of Guess jeans that was the trend with the zipper on the ankle. Oh, how I wanted a pair when I see my classmates wearing it at school.
I had to work for a young age just to get what I wanted to buy. I teased my parents that I didn't need the allowance they given me because it wasn't enough to buy what the trend was in clothing during my time.
I even worked during seasonal during the holidays. Just so I can also fit into the trend.
I also remember people we're into Esprit clothing and when they had a big sale. We would drive by San Francisco to buy what everyone was talking about in school. The next day you would see almost everyone wearing the same clothes.
This generation in time we buy clothes online and complete our daily busy life. Or we head down to Ross Dress for Less, TJ Maxx or Marshalls to buy designer clothing sold in big expensive department stores.
Other people just buy their clothes online like Amazon, Zalore, Lazada, Shopee and many more out there.
As we get older the lifestyle is advancing and getting more complicated. If, you don't have an android phone you are not in trend in style.
Living here in the Philippines I notice they are more on what you have based on the high technology phones. People here change their phone once their contact expire in two year from their phone carrier from Globe, Smart and Sun.
Those who do not want to get a postpaid plan they buy their phone through Home Credit, phone store or online.
Some people here who don't shop online they buy their clothes in department stores or Divisoria which the clothes are inexpensive.
We value our money and tend to on a budget. We buy things to make sure we can supplement the needs for the whole family.
We shop at inexpensive store like for example 168 Shopping Mall, 999 Shopping Mall or Binondo Store where they sell a variety of clothing, electronic, phone accessories, home items, and many more. It is like a flea market known in different countries. But, the stores are indoor inside a shopping mall. The mall is air-conditioned in some area.
You can bargain with the sellers to get a good deal and if you buy half a dozen or one dozen you can get an wholesale price.
This is where the tourist shop to buy what they call, "Pasalubong" (gifts) to their family and friends.
