Puto bumbong lovers, your favorite holiday treat just got a Wendy’s glow-up—ready for a twist on tradition?

It’s payday, the perfect time to treat ourselves, especially with the ever-changing weather in the Philippines. For fans of traditional Pinoy desserts , there’s now a new twist to enjoy your puto bumbong . Carmina ordered’  Wendy's Philippines ’ latest offering—the Putobumbong Frosty —available in two sizes: 6oz for 87.85 pesos ($1.49) or a tub for 125.35 pesos ($2.12).  She opted for the tub, skipping the smaller size entirely. The classic puto bumbong, made from purple sticky rice with grated cheese and latik sauce , gets an upgrade in Wendy’s version, which adds leche flan , rice crispies, and creamy vanilla frosty. A sweet treat perfect for those with a sweet tooth. Carmina preferred it served separately, as the puto bumbong is hard and chewy to eat. I guess I’m just used to having it without ice cream. That’s just my preference—others might enjoy it as it is. NOT SPONSORED. Check out my channel where you can find my videos at  Carmina Lifestyle YouTube Channel ...

Affordable Japanese Food from Manmaru in Quezon City, Philippines

Carmina had informed Mom Violy and Tita Edna that going to bring you to a new Japanese restaurant.

I had teased Tita Edna we are heading to Japan. Tita Edna gave me a strange look.

In the car Carmina had pointed to Mom Violy and Tita Edna where we'll be having our lunch at Manmaru Japanese Restaurant a soft opening second branch in the Philippines.

Both of the seniors were very happy to see the saying yes it looks like we are in Japan seeing there are a lot of people eating inside.

I was told there is usually a long wait.

Why I had suggested Mom Violy to come early since Manmaru open at eleven in the morning.

What does Manmaru Japanese Restaurant have to offer?

They have three menus handed to you.

Mom Violy decided to have her favorite chicken teriyaki and adding 90.00 pesos for the lunch menu which includes miso soup, salad, radish and beansprouts.

Tita Edna ordered the salmon ramen soup along with adding 90.00 pesos to her meal.

Carmina wanted to try their hotpot udon.

Those who are a water drinker make sure you bring your own. They don't serve water only can purchase bottled water with a charge.

There is free barley house tea offered to you.

What is SOFT OPENING?

The restaurant is newly opened don't expect so much when you would like to have food you've order come to your table right away.

There will be some flaws that are minor, yet they can always change how they serve your food in the future.

Something I had a glance to see there was a table in front of us with many people. A server had placed Manmaru Special after a person question what it was. It was something they didn't order.

We found out later it was something Mom Violy and Tita Edna had ordered.

Manmaru Special is a sushi with salmon and mango one of what the server had highly recommended to try.

The serving of their food is big portion may have some leftovers.

Those into rice this place is for you.

Tita Edna had called up her friends informed them about Manmaru Japanese restaurant finding out close in her area.

By the time we had finished our meal around 12 noon there was a long line customer waiting to be seated.

There is a second floor provided.

Anyone who would like to have a big group or a party may call and reserve a table.

How did Carmina find Manmaru Japanese Restaurant?
