It’s been months since Carmina last posted on her Google Maps. I started doing it just for fun, exploring new places to dine and travel, and sharing those spots with others. Back in 2017, I wasn’t even blogging yet. Over the years, I received numerous email updates about changes, but in September, the removal of followers on Google Maps felt particularly strange. There’s no point in complaining about it. I decided not to close my account, as it wasn’t an option, but I did delete all the photos I had contributed over the years. I have fond memories of seeing which photos were popular and had hoped to share them with you. It was surprising to see how many views my pictures had accumulated. While deleting them, I noticed that many restaurants and bakeries no longer exist, with some marked as unknown on the map. Manang V is sharing her favorite recipe on String Beans with Tofu. Manang V said you can also do the same with kangkong if you choose to go in that direction.
String Beans with Tofu Recipe
Ingredients:
- 3 Tbsp. - Oyster Sauce
- 3 - Cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1 - Medium Onion (chopped)
- 2 - Tbs Cooking Oil
- 1/4 Kilo Pork (chopped)
- 1/2 Kilo String beans (washed, cut into 2 inch long pieces)
- Tofu (slice in cubes)
- 1/2 Cup - Water
Cooking Instructions:
Step 1:
Cook in a large pan in medium heat add cooking oil add garlic and onion sauté
Add pork cook for two minutes
Add oyster sauce and water until sauce begins to boil
Step 2:
Add string beans and tofu mix together cook for 10 minutes season ready to serve on a serving plate.
Best to eat with white rice.
