Tired of the new rules, Carmina closed her Google Maps account — what pushed her over the edge?

It’s been months since Carmina last posted on her Google Maps. I started doing it just for fun, exploring new places to dine and travel, and sharing those spots with others. Back in 2017, I wasn’t even blogging yet. Over the years, I received numerous email updates about changes, but in September, the removal of followers on Google Maps felt particularly strange. There’s no point in complaining about it. I decided not to close my account, as it wasn’t an option, but I did delete all the photos I had contributed over the years. I have fond memories of seeing which photos were popular and had hoped to share them with you. It was surprising to see how many views my pictures had accumulated. While deleting them, I noticed that many restaurants and bakeries no longer exist, with some marked as unknown on the map. Most of my photos were from the pandemic period, a time when I could fully express myself and write about the food I enjoyed. Let's take a trip down memory lane with Carmina th...

What's cooking Cajun in Prawn Star PH

There was a day I was talking to my friend asking if we had Cajun food in the Philippines. I had mentioned there are certain restaurants that does serve it but haven't tried it.

After talking to my friend I began craving for the food and decided to serve it for my upcoming birthday. I came across from Grab the application I use most often to have my food delivered to my home.

What caught my eye was Prawn Star PH that serves food that has been cooked Louisiana inspired Cajun style in their seafood. I love eating shrimp and love to try it cooked differently from our home.

Too bad the crab wasn't able to try who knows in the future I can try it someday.

I had ordered Prawns Sexy Hottie Mild for PHP 870.00

Side Order of Garlic Noodles PHP 200.00

Corn on the cob PHP 60.00 per piece

It had arrived in per packed plastic containers.

I brought my food to my mom's home to celebrate my birthday there.

My mom and I liked how everything tasted something for us to remind if we miss the cooking back in Louisiana we can always order at Prawn Star PH that is closer for us than flying straight there.

Note:

I am not selling or advertising for Prawn Star PH.
