I pointed out to Mom Violy that she had a similar crystal tree decoration at home. She said it was forty years old and already dirty. The saleslady explained it could be cleaned easily with soap and water. Carmina decided to take Mom Violy home and bring the crystal tree decoration with her. Hasa hasa is a short bodied mackerel fish in English. This time Manang V had decided to just fry this fish along with our other dishes cooked for our dinner.
You may have notice in the Philippines there are different types of fish to eat and they are fresh when you buy it in the public market that is the benefit living in the Philippines you get to eat and try new fish each day whatever is available.
Hasa Hasa Fried Fish Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1/2 Kilo - Hasa Hasa (clean)
- Salt
Preparing the Hasa Hasa:
- Rub salt on the fish
- Set aside
Frying:
- In a frying pan pour cooking oil when hot add hasa hasa and cook both sides and ready to eat.
