Did you know there is a meat slicer for canned goods? There are some people who would like perfect slices when cooking a meal. Those who are in a hurry Carmina found something quick and easy to use. Carmina found a luncheon stainless meat slicer something similar with an egg slicer. Carmina made her purchase from  Rose Underwear Shop  Online Shopee for 80.00 pesos ($1.40) not including shipping and handling. All you need is remove the luncheon meat from the can and place it on top making sure the slicer is open by moving the blade up. Close the lid which is the stainless-steel blade slice the luncheon meat. It is easier if you're using both hands however were able to do it using one hand while taking the video. NOT SPONSORED. Paksiw ng Pata Recipe



You have an option to add the sugar to the paksiw ng pata or not add the sugar depending on if you have someone who is diabetic and doesn't want to eat it with their dish is an option to this dish.

Paksiw ng Pata Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 Kilo Pork Pata (sliced into 2 inches)
  • ½ Cup – Soy sauce
  • 8 - Cloves of Garlic (minced)
  • 2 Cups - Water
  • ½ Cup - Vinegar
  • 1/4 Cup - Brown Sugar
  • ½ Package - Dried Banana Blossom (soaked in water)
  • 1 Tbsp – Whole Black Pepper
  • Patis (fish sauce)
  • Cooking Oil

Cooking Instructions:

Step 1:

Cook in pan heat oil add pork pata cook until cooked and set aside the pork

Add garlic to sauté

Add pork pata pour the water, soy sauce, vinegar, peppercorn cook in low heat for one hour until tender.

Step 2:

Add banana blossom, sugar cook for another 15 minutes.

Season with patis to your taste and ready to serve in a bowl.
