Missing quality time? Lunch with Dad at East Ocean Seafood is the answer.

Carmina's dad had informed her that he would like to have a meal. Carmina's dad decided to treat her for lunch at  East Ocean Seafood Restaurant . Upon entering in the back of the parking lot there is an entrance the server will ask how many we are. Seating at a table handling out the menu to look and decide upon what we'll order. Carmina had informed her dad that Papa Ping's favorite is Mongolian beef decided to make it as our meal. Carmina's favorite has always been honey with walnuts. We had ordered yang chow fried rice. Dad wanted me to have my favorite sesame seeds Lotus for dessert. We had leftovers Carmina brought it home for Papa Ping to eat for his dinner. Kalabasa Soup Recipe


Kalabasa is a squash which I love to eat in any way we can make it into a dish to be cooked at our home. This soup is easy to make it at home and you can use the same ingredients by using a different vegetable because in any dish it will be different with its texture cooked based on how you puree it in the blender.

Main Ingredient:
  • 1 - Nestle Cream or 1 cup of any cream
  • 1 - Knorr Cubes any flavor
  • 4 - Cups Water 
  • 1 - Onion (chopped)
  • 1 - Kilo Kalabasa - squash (peel and cut into cubes) or any vegetable
  • 1/2 - Tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/4 - Cup Bacon (cooked and chopped) - Optional
  • Blender
Cooking Instructions:
Step 1:
  • In a saucepan add water let it boil 
  • Add onion and kalabasa cook until soft
Step 2:
Blender:
  • Place Step 1 in the blender until texture is smooth transfer back in the saucepan.
Step 3:
  • Add nestle cream, until pot begins to boil add Knorr cube, bacon and season with black pepper.
Ready to eat!

Note:
  • You can add croutons to your soup to add more flavor to you soup.
