It’s been months since Carmina last posted on her Google Maps. I started doing it just for fun, exploring new places to dine and travel, and sharing those spots with others. Back in 2017, I wasn’t even blogging yet. Over the years, I received numerous email updates about changes, but in September, the removal of followers on Google Maps felt particularly strange. There’s no point in complaining about it. I decided not to close my account, as it wasn’t an option, but I did delete all the photos I had contributed over the years. I have fond memories of seeing which photos were popular and had hoped to share them with you. It was surprising to see how many views my pictures had accumulated. While deleting them, I noticed that many restaurants and bakeries no longer exist, with some marked as unknown on the map. Most of my photos were from the pandemic period, a time when I could fully express myself and write about the food I enjoyed. Let's take a trip down memory lane with Carmina th...
For the first time I ate fresh live crab that was bought
from Farmer’s Market and my mom had already cooked it up for me.
I had removed all the meat and place in a bowl. I had air fry
sliced potato thinking it would eat separate in replace of my rice.
I ended up mixing my potato with crabmeat and found the
flavor has been enhanced with a better taste in my tongue.
Next, I know I have discovered a new meal on my own.
Mashed Potato with
Fresh Crabmeat Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 2 – Fresh Cook Crab (remove the meat from shell)
- 3 – Medium size potato (washed and sliced in the center)
- Butter (depends on your taste)
- Air fryer or oven to roast the potato
- Bowl
- Fork
Step 1:
- Place it in the Air Fryer wire pan facing upwards the skin facing down on the rack.
- I had roasted the potato front and back only taking twenty-five minutes when the top of the potato is brown and cooked I would flip it showing the skin.
Step 2:
- In a bowl I had melted some butter to add taste to my potato that is not seasoned.
Step 3:
- Mashed the potato with the skin
- Add the butter and crabmeat
- Mix together
- Removed the skin on the potato and had set it aside on a separate plate.
Enjoy!
