Carmina's Chicken Marinara Recipe

Carmina can remember she use to eat chicken marinara long time ago. I decided to make whatever I had in my home.

We know that marinara is supposed to be Italian flavor, but when living in the Philippines. People don't like their tomato sauce being too sour.

Carmina's Chicken Marinara Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 3 Pieces - Boneless Chicken Breast
  • Olive Oil
  • 4 Cloves of Garlic (minced)
  • Any brand Spaghetti Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 1/2 Cup - Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • Black Pepper
  • Salt
  • Garlic Powder
First Step:

We will marinate the boneless chicken breast for one hour by adding black pepper, salt and garlic powder on the front and back.

Those who want to tenderize your boneless chicken breast can do it before or after it has been marinated.

Place in the fridge in a Ziplock.

Second Step:

Best to slice up the boneless chicken breast into one and half thickness and slicing it horizontal. It will be easier when you fry it.

Cooking:

In a non-stick frying pan add small amount of olive oil when pan is hot adding the boneless chicken strips enough to fill the pan. Cook in low heat making both sides are fully cook.

Strain it and keep cooking the remaining boneless chicken strips.

Next, we will prepare the marinara sauce in a separate pot add small amount of olive oil, add minced garlic sauté it when fully cook add the spaghetti sauce, butter and mozzarella cheese until it has been melted.

Pour the marinara sauce into a flat casserole dish and add the cooked chicken strips.

Option:

Some people like to eat it with pasta, rice or tortilla all depends on what mood you feel to eat the chicken marinara.
