Carmina's review on Summit Hotel in Tacloban

Last year my dad had informed me he will be getting married in Tacloban the place his wife grew up in the Philippines . My dad said he would like all of his family members to attend since they couldn't go to the one in the United States. Carmina booked her flight during Philippine Airlines ’ year-end sale at the start of 2026. I told my dad about my travel plans for a short trip from Friday, April 17 to Sunday, April 19. My cousins also asked for my flight details so they could book the same flight. My dad said he will book my room for me sharing with two family members at  Summit Hotel in Tacloban . Sending me the confirmation booking information for my reference.  As the months went by, before I knew it, the big day had finally arrived—a rare event that doesn’t happen too often. Everything had been carefully planned by my dad and his wife, Tita Cielo. When we arrived, the check-in time was 2 PM, but there was a mix-up with the rooms. Carmina's Healthy Version California Maki Pasta Salad Recipe

Carmina remember she use to make California Maki Pasta. She went ahead checking what ingredients she had yet some items was missing.

Rather using fettuccine pasta noodles I had elbow macaroni on hand. I had no evaporated milk and nestle cream. I had revised with Almond Milk. I only need 1/4 cup of milk.

The mayonnaise is Kraft Olive Oil the healthy version.

I only had ripped mango it is alright. No cucumber on hand.

Carmina had cooked the macaroni pasta, sliced up the mango in cubes and eight sticks of imitation crab meat by removing the plastic wrapper, sliced into thirds before separating.

The macaroni noodles were fully cooked I had strained it and added to the plastic container to combine all ingredients together.

I added the sliced mangos and imitation crab meat with the cooked macaroni noodles.

I placed half cup mayonnaise on the pasta noodles and remaining half cup in the measuring cup by adding wasabi based on your taste and two tablespoons of Kikkoman lite soy sauce.

I began mixing it all ingredients together and place in separate plastic containers when not hot to be placed in the refrigerator.

Some people prefer their pasta warmed up or cold either way it works two ways.
