When the longing for authentic Pinoy dishes strikes in the U.S., Isla Grand stands ready to transport your taste buds back to the Philippines.

Carmina is traveling to the United States to spend time with her family. My dad planned a family gathering for Mother's Day at their favorite Pinoy restaurant . Since reservations aren’t possible, we arrived an hour early to ensure we could get a table for twelve before everyone else showed up. Mom Violy Shopping for Live Crabs from Gina Crabs Seaside Macapagal

Carmina's craving is to eat buttered garlic crabs from Crab House Seaside Macapagal

In order for them to cook your crabs you have an option to ask the restaurant to purchase your live crabs or do it on your own at the nearest public market.

Mom Violy asked Dimple to accompany her to purchase two pieces live crab from Gina Crabs Seaside Macapagal.

Mom Violy paid 1,200.00 pesos ($21.81) for two pieces.

Crab House had cooked it for us.

The crab is delicious and best to eat with white rice the restaurant provides dipping sauce for you to use.

Make sure you request for disposable plastic gloves and a bowl for your garbage to place eaten pieces of the crab.
