Carmina says Bebang’s halo-halo is summer in a spoon — but is it the real deal or just pretty colors in a cup?

Since last year, Mom Violy and Carmina had been wanting to try the much-talked-about  Bebang's Halo-Halo , but even when we passed by, the timing was never right. Mom Violy kept saying she’d wait until a branch opened closer to us. Then Becky told Carmina there was one along her commute route to work. The best part was that the Tomas Morato branch in Quezon City had just opened. When we arrived at CTTM Square , we found plenty of restaurants on the second floor. While checking the menu, we let the customers behind us order first. Mom Violy asked them for recommendations, and they suggested the Presidential for first timers. Unlike other places, Bebang’s Halo-Halo doesn’t have size options—everything comes in a standard size, making ordering easier. Seniors and PWDs get a discount per order, and you’re given something that lights up when your halo-halo is ready for pickup. Service was quick, so the wait wasn’t long at all. Each order comes in its own green plastic bag with a table...

Take Me Out by Novotel

Since no one is taking me out to dine outside during our pandemic we come across purchasing our own food when we feel like getting a bite to eat.

Carmina got hungry when she had visit Mom Violy. Carmina felt she wanted to eat something having no good food at the house.

Carmina decided to try something new for a change.

Glazed Grilled Chicken PHP 250.00 ($5.00)

Cantonese Fried Noodles PHP 250.00 ($5.00)

Yang Chow Fried Rice for PHP 250.00 ($5.00)

What is convenient when your food is in a carton just like Chinese style being placed in a box to eat out from all you need to do is flattening the box and you have an instant plate?

Something Carmina saw tips from videos you see online in social media. Here is a sample photo of how suppose to eat your food.

Carmina's Review:

Glazed Grilled Chicken remind me of eating a taco salad although in a healthy version with lettuce, beans, avocado, nacho chips, corn, pumpkin seeds, flax seeds, sesame seeds, tagorashi and salad dressing of sesame oil.

Carmina didn't use the sesame oil she had requested to place on the side too bad it spilled during the process being delivered to my location inside a paper bag.

Cantonese Fried Noodles is something Mom Violy will surely enjoy her favorite canton noodles.

Yang Chow Fried Rice had lots of scramble egg on top that made everything taste delicious for a family member to eat.

For your reference if you cannot stay in a hotel you can still order the food from Take Me Out by Novotel by checking their menu.
