Since last year, Mom Violy and Carmina had been wanting to try the much-talked-about Bebang's Halo-Halo , but even when we passed by, the timing was never right. Mom Violy kept saying she’d wait until a branch opened closer to us. Then Becky told Carmina there was one along her commute route to work. The best part was that the Tomas Morato branch in Quezon City had just opened. When we arrived at CTTM Square , we found plenty of restaurants on the second floor. While checking the menu, we let the customers behind us order first. Mom Violy asked them for recommendations, and they suggested the Presidential for first timers. Unlike other places, Bebang’s Halo-Halo doesn’t have size options—everything comes in a standard size, making ordering easier. Seniors and PWDs get a discount per order, and you’re given something that lights up when your halo-halo is ready for pickup. Service was quick, so the wait wasn’t long at all. Carmina had received a text message from Midnight Bakers that they would like me to sample their mini mooncake.
Carmina had texted back saying Thank you very much. I appreciate it.
Carmina never expected how the mooncake will look after the boxes had arrived.
To be honest Carmina has never receive this much freebies in her life being a blogger. I am not a person who has a lot of followers.
I am just grateful to find Midnight Bakers by purchasing their products online from Lazada Philippines.

Opening the first box I saw an egg shape containers that looked fancy and delicate to touch.
Egg Yolk Cakes may look the same on the outside the treasure is in the inside when I had sliced in the middle my eyes saw so many ingredients inside.
I decided to capture the moment by taking a picture on each Egg Yolk Cakes which the description on the receipt given is the following:
- Egg Yolk Cake with Nuts (Ube)
- Egg Yolk Cake with Nuts (White Monggo)
- Egg Yolk Cake with Nuts (Black Monggo)
- Egg Yolk Cake with Floss (Ube)
- Egg Yolk Cake with Floss (White Monggo)
- Egg Yolk Cake with Floss (Black Monggo)
It took a long time to figure it out while my mind was just at shock. I felt I won the lottery with an opportunity to try all these mooncakes for free and they really call this sampling.
Carmina had shared the mooncakes to the employees and family members to give on what they had reacted on the mooncakes.
The response it look like a Chinese hopia, but when you bite inside you realize it is a pastries that is filled with different ingredients.
It is amazing how each egg yolk cake look.
Carmina feel it is a great gift to give during the holidays something everyone can have a moment to appreciate how much someone put so much effort in baking each mooncakes.
