Osaka Cafe

Normally I don't complain about restaurants that I have eaten to order food to be delivered to your home, but this time I wanted to share my experience with you.

Today in the evening a family member was requesting to eat Oyakodon in restaurant that we normally order from the problem it was already late in the evening. It is difficult to find the right place when the time is not appropriate while most Japanese restaurants we're closed or soon to close not giving enough to chose.

I didn't want to rush myself. I found Osaka Cafe that had the Oyakodon Rice Bowl PHP 139.00 ($2.78).

The remaining family member decided to eat their favorite that is common to serve in a Japanese restaurant chicken teriyaki.

In Osaka Cafe their menu is Boneless Chicken Teriyaki, but it is not what you call Chicken Teriyaki that you normally eat in Japanese Restaurant. The reason why I say this because it is not grilled chicken teriyaki it is breaded just like your eating chicken katsu that just has teriyaki sauce.

Osaka Cafe should change the name it is not the real Chicken Teriyaki or not in the (it is breaded katsu with teriyaki sauce) so other people they encounter just get misjudge when they place their order.

The chicken is soft but the sauce doesn't taste that great there is a bad after taste in it there is not much chicken in the bowl and having too many rice in the bottom.

  • Boneless Chicken Teriyaki PHP 135.00 ($2.70)

  • Chicken Katsudon PHP 139.00 ($2.78)

The only two meals that didn't have a problem the family member said it was good was the Oyakodon Rice Bowl and Chicken Katsudon.

The cheesecake I had ordered was too sweet and it didn't taste the real cheesecake you would eat some where else it taste more like whipped cream.

  • Cloud Cake Cheesecake PHP 180.00 ($3.60)

Every time you've decide to order in a new place you lose some or gain something out of it. Today I was in the middle I wasn't satisfied with my meal it was something unexpected.
