Carmina was shopping with Mom Violy at Robinsons Magnolia when she unexpectedly spotted onion rings while passing the freezer section. She remembered Becky mentioning them a few days ago, so she decided to grab a package since it was only around two hundred pesos. Carmina was putting away her groceries placing in the freezer began to read the package of Maestro Chicken Onion Rings later realized made a big mistake. I guess we learn something new when being preoccupied during our grocery shopping. The next day came decided to fry some chicken onion rings and found out they actually taste good dipping it with barbecue sauce. When you look back and receive old memories from your
Facebook and look back at the pictures and see who are in it you realize some
of the people in the picture no longer exist they are now in heaven and left
you with the other people at your side.
Sometimes people who glance at the pictures start to miss
the good times they have shared with that person.
Other people don’t want to see pictures from people who have
passed away many years ago to me looking at their picture doesn’t scare me at
all or have they ever come and visit me in my dreams or my daily life.
I see these people who passed away another chapter of
memories to keep along with you and to share with others.
I always tell my mom why you have to be afraid of the ones
dead you should be afraid of those who are alive.
My memory today is my Tita Pera who is a relative of my mom.
She was a person who loved to dance at her age to prove anyone at her age who
reaches the age of 80 plus she can still look young and be able to dance what
she loves to do.
My story about Tita Pera is that she loved to ballroom
dancing and I remember when I was young and we had attended a party. My Uncle
asked, if I knew the person dancing I said no even if I did know who she was. I
was too shy to tell the person dancing closing her eyes was my Tita Pera when
you’re young you don’t want to admit a person who is on the dance floor is
related to you.
My Tita Pera dances with her eyes closed because she said,
if her eyes are open while spinning around she would get dizzy. Having her eyes
closed she just tune herself in with dance steps she has already memorized
and goes by how she feels toward the music.
My Tita Pera was very outgoing and she loved when I had
taken videos of her and she didn’t mind me sharing it to the whole world she
was proud who she was even if she wore out dated clothes.
I am sure while you are in heaven you're always have your dancing shoes while the music keeps playing.
