Discover why Carmina believes Maestro Chicken Onion Rings are the ultimate budget-friendly indulgence that doesn’t compromise on flavor.

Carmina was shopping with Mom Violy at Robinsons Magnolia when she unexpectedly spotted onion rings while passing the freezer section. She remembered Becky mentioning them a few days ago, so she decided to grab a package since it was only around two hundred pesos. Carmina was putting away her groceries placing in the freezer began to read the package of Maestro Chicken Onion Rings later realized made a big mistake. I guess we learn something new when being preoccupied during our grocery shopping. The next day came decided to fry some chicken onion rings and found out they actually taste good dipping it with barbecue sauce.  Those who have family member and within a budget can purchase  Maestro Food Philippines  products check their Facebook see what other products they sell. Road Trip to Cabanatuan City, Philippines

Road trip to Cabanatuan City from Manila is three to four hours drive depending what route you will take. My mom loves taking the back road to buy fruits, vegetables, salted egg, and balut before we reach our destination.

Stop # 1:

No one can live out with watermelon you see every time you pass by and this is one thing my mom loves to eat either to blend to make a watermelon smoothie or cut up from the refrigerator.

Price of each watermelon is PHP 70.00 ($1.40)

Stop # 2:

Vegetables sold on the street onion from red or white and raw uncooked peanuts.

Price of Peanut and onions are PHP 100.00 ($2.00) per kilo

Stop # 3:

Exotic balut in what I had mentioned before in my blog on exotic food you may check it out for your reference.

Jing Jing is a place where you buy it wholesale and the main factory that provide other sellers in the Philippines.

Price on salted egg  per piece PHP 10.00 ($0.20)
Penoy Balut per piece PHP 6.00 ($0.12)
Balut per piece PHP 11.00 ($0.22)

Penoy Balut has no chick just like an hard boiled chicken egg just it is a duck egg

It is best to contact Jing Jing Store before going there if you plan to buy by the dozen. They tend to run out which had happened to us.

Best to bring egg crate containers with you when you plan to buy by the dozen.

Stop # 4:

My favorite stop over is eating fresh grilled or steam white corn on the road. You can also buy white corn that is uncooked and bring home to your family.

Cost for one white corn is PHP 7.00 ($0.14)

Look for Elan to buy white corn we always buy from him because the white corn is so sweet and fresh.

By the time you come home you have so many goodies to eat the next day.
