What made Mom Violy step out of her comfort zone and try Las Flores for lunch?

  Mom Violy wanted to try Spanish food from  Las Flores  at Robinsons Magnolia . I remembered long time ago saw a family friend when my family was visiting beginning of the year. Mom Violy couldn't remember decided to have our lunch. Carmina decided to try out their Let's Do Lunch for 595.00 pesos ($10.26). Carmina asked for vegetable soup and Bikini sandwich which is ham and mozzarella cheese with potato chips. There is an unlimited calamansi but decided to pay additional for a Coke to share with Mom Violy. Mom Violy wasn't sure what she wanted ended up eating Gambas al Ajillo and white rice. In the beginning Mom Violy thought if she ate her gambas al Ajillo with just unlimited bread from the Las Flores she won't get full. It turned out she didn't eat that much of her rice. Original Filipino Spaghetti Recipe


I am sharing you the original version of my Filipino spaghetti that I normally cook at home. The people who can use the actual Del Monte Tomato Sauce this one is for you.

This recipe is carefree you can choose what type of ground meat you would like to use from either beef, pork, chicken or turkey.

The same goes with your hotdog or sausages either beef or chicken of your choice.


Original Filipino Spaghetti:
  • 1 Kilo Ground Meat of your choice
  • 3 Large Del Monte Original Tomato Sauce (pouch)
  • 1 Dairy Creme Butter Original Bar
  • 1 Large Eden Cheese (shredded)
  • 2 Packages of Spaghetti Noodles for 2 kilos
  • 8 Pieces Purefood Beef Hotdog (sliced in circles)
  • 1 Big Onion (chopped)
  • 1 Clove Whole Garlic (miced)
  • 8 Tbs Patis (Fish Sauce)
  • 8 Tbs Brown Sugar
Cooking Instructions:

Step 1:
  • Boil a little amount of water in a pot.
  • Add the ground meat of your choice and wait till it is cook.
  • Drain the water and set aside.
Step 2:
  • In the same pot place a little amount of cooking oil saute the onions, garlic, hot dog and ground meat.
  • Add the fish sauce
  • Mix together
Step 3:
  • Add the tomato sauce, butter, sugar and cheese until it melts
  • Mix together
Step 4:
  • Cook the spaghetti noodles by following the instructions on its package.
  • Add little amount of cooking oil preventing noodles to stick to each other
  • Drain and place on a serving bowl.
Ready to eat!

Garlic Bread Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 4 tablespoon butter with one clove of garlic chopped and place in a microwave bowl
  • Spread on the bread
  • Toast the bread
