Did you know there is a meat slicer for canned goods? There are some people who would like perfect slices when cooking a meal. Those who are in a hurry Carmina found something quick and easy to use. Carmina found a luncheon stainless meat slicer something similar with an egg slicer. Carmina made her purchase from  Rose Underwear Shop  Online Shopee for 80.00 pesos ($1.40) not including shipping and handling. All you need is remove the luncheon meat from the can and place it on top making sure the slicer is open by moving the blade up. Close the lid which is the stainless-steel blade slice the luncheon meat. It is easier if you're using both hands however were able to do it using one hand while taking the video. NOT SPONSORED. Filipino Chicken Afritada with Eggplant Salad Recipe


This has always been my favorite dish my mom cooks for me when I was young. She would match it with eggplant salad.

Filipino Chicken Apritada Recipe:

Ingredient:
  • Cooking oil
  • 2 Tbsp Garlic crushed
  • 2 Tbsp while or red onion sliced
  • 1 pack with either leg, thigh or wings of your choice
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp fish sauce (Patis)
  • 2 pieces potato peel and cut into chunks
  • 1 piece of carrot peel and cut into chunks
  • 1 Del Monte Tomato Sauce
  • 1 small red bell pepper sliced 2-inch strips
Step 1:
  • In a pot you will pour a small amount of cooking oil sauté the garlic and onion with patis.
  • Add the chicken
  • Add the water
  • Simmer until boiled for 10 minutes
Step 2:
  • Add the potato and carrot
  • Add the Del Monte Tomato Sauce until potato and carrot are cooked
Eggplant Salad Recipe:

Ingredient:
  • 2 pieces eggplant
  • 1/8 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp white vinegar
Step 1:
  • Grill eggplant on your stove flip back and forth
  • Remove the skin after being cooked
Step 2:
  • Slice eggplant into 3-inch length
  • Add white vinegar, black pepper and salt
  • Mix together
