Mom Violy and Carmina’s dining experience at Dean & DeLuca

  Mom Violy told me she wanted to order the Paella Negra from Dean & Deluca. Carmina suggested we dine in since we’d never really tried their main courses, always just getting takeout with the cream puffs . Mom Violy agreed, and we arrived about thirty minutes before the lunch rush began. The service was very slow, even though we had ordered ahead of time. They mistakenly brought out the Paella Valenciana , despite Mom Violy repeating the order three times to the person who took it. It turned out the cook on duty made the error, even though it was written down clearly. We know Paella Negra takes a long time to prepare, which is why Mom Violy had requested it to be cooked beforehand. She wanted it as her main meal, but because of the mix-up and feeling hungry, she took a piece of Carmina’s Turkey Club Sandwich and asked for the bacon on the side. New Item Salted Egg Prawns in Cafe Juanita Filipino Restaurant

Carmina's family was over visiting the Philippines. They love to explore by eating outside.

Mom Violy said, she has eaten at Cafe Juanita with her friend's long time.

Carmina's sister had made reservations at five o'clock in the afternoon. 

We had arrived early and was informed that the restaurant doesn't open until five o'clock. We waited outside in the parking lot in front.

Appetizers

Starting off with fried calamari's which is breaded squid with dipping sauce.


Crispy shrimp okoy with vinegar for dipping sauce.


Gambas Al Ajillo

We had a long table one side had ordered their own meals. We had shared our food to sample and see which ones we liked the most.

Those who love collagen can eat some classic Bulalo for sharing.


Some of the family member love to eat crispy pork binagoongan.


For vegetable lovers got to try the Laing Bicolano cooked with coconut milk.


Dagupan daing na bangus with vinegar dipping sauce 


Three-way pork adobo ribs which is very tender and soft not something you often see in a Filipino Restaurant. 


Watch out on the hot plate served on the sizzling sisig topped with sunny side up egg. 


Carmina calls this the vampire food the special dinuguan. 


Carmina ordered the new item in the menu salted egg prawns. Everyone liked it as well. 


If you love eating crab fat this pasta is for you in Tagalog, they call it Aligue with toast bread.


The Bacolod style chicken insal had arrived later since they have to grill includes with garlic rice and vinegar for dipping sauce. 


Save room for dessert Cafe Juanita offer ice-cream or Filipino desserts.

The restroom is located on the first floor one the left side coming from the second floor. There is a sliding door where you see a small garden. There is three restroom one to occupy for the male, unisex and female.

No smoking is not allowed inside or outside the restaurant.

Mom Violy enjoyed the atmosphere because you can eat delicious Filipino dishes as well take a whole lot of pictures.
