Did you know there is a meat slicer for canned goods? There are some people who would like perfect slices when cooking a meal. Those who are in a hurry Carmina found something quick and easy to use. Carmina found a luncheon stainless meat slicer something similar with an egg slicer. Carmina made her purchase from Rose Underwear Shop Online Shopee for 80.00 pesos ($1.40) not including shipping and handling. All you need is remove the luncheon meat from the can and place it on top making sure the slicer is open by moving the blade up. Close the lid which is the stainless-steel blade slice the luncheon meat. It is easier if you're using both hands however were able to do it using one hand while taking the video. NOT SPONSORED. Long time ago we had an employee who used to make maruya which is banana fritters. It is a popular Filipino dessert during merienda.
Carmina had ripped saba that needed to be eaten somehow. I didn't quite have any sugar in the house and improvised by using honey.
Carmina's Healthy Version Banana Fritter Recipe
Ingredients:
- 4 Pieces Ripe Saba (mashed with a fork)
- 1 - Egg
- 3/4 Cup - All-Purpose Flour
- 1 - Tsp. Cornstarch
- Cinnamon Powder (depending on you)
- 1 - Tbsp. Honey optional or Sugar (depending on you)
Preparing Batter:
- In a bowl mash up the banana with a fork, add egg that has been beaten, all-purpose flour, cornstarch, cinnamon powder and honey to the mixture.
Frying:
- In a frying pan add cooking oil and use a measuring cup using to scoop the batter adding it to the pan cook both sides.
- Use a strainer to remove excess oil and place on a serving plate.
