Short on time but craving quality? Beginning 2026, Burger & Lobster will be your fast, flavorful errand-day fix.

Mom Violy had been craving lobster but was hesitant to try dining at Burger & Lobster. She mentioned the restaurant to a family member, who said the food was delicious but pricey. She told Carmina she wanted to eat there for lunch on Saturday, January 3rd. Since it was the new year, we decided to explore and try something different. Many tables had reservations, but they also accepted walk-ins, just like we did today. Our server handed us the menu. Carmina already knew what she wanted to order: BBQ Beef Ribs for 1,190 pesos ($20.17). Mom Violy and a family member decided to share the Combo One at B&L for 5,290.00 pesos ($89.66), along with garlic rice for 90.00 pesos ($1.53). A family member ordered an Atomic Burger for 695.00 pesos ($11.78) along with a Lobster Mac & Cheese for 990.00 pesos ($16.78). Dine Out with Top Fan Auntie Lorie at Great Emperor Restaurant

On our California vacation this year Mom Violy and Carmina had plans to visit Top Fan Lorie in Seattle unexpected plans changed.

Top Fan Lorie had informed us she'll be visiting her family in the Philippines on the month of September to October.

We figured since we cannot see each other in the United States we can always catch up a bite to eat at Dampa.

Mom Violy and Carmina had planned our meet up making easier on her we went closer to her area.

Reality is Mom Violy and Lorie have been friends for quite a while since I was young.

Aunt Lorie said she was craving for seafood. Mom Violy suggested Dampa.

Great Emperor is what someone recommended us to try. They serve Chinese and Fiipino dishes.

Mom Violy went to the market to purchase some crabs and Maya Maya fish.

Carmina waited for Auntie Lorie to arrive.

Our large crab was cooked with butter and garlic.

Mom Violy met some new friends also coming from the United States visiting their home town.

Just in case you want to try eating at Great Emperor recommended is to get smaller size crabs and fish cooked for stew rather than what Mom Violy shopped at the market.

Here is their menu:
