Since reservations aren’t possible, we arrived an hour early to ensure we could get a table for twelve before everyone else showed up. Later, the server called my dad's name and guided us to our table. The place was bustling with people enjoying meals and celebrating Mother's Day. On our first visit to Isla Grand, I was captivated by the décor, noticing many native items that gave the place a fancy yet authentic Filipino feel. Every time we would travel and visit our family, we would take us to eat at their favorite Dungeness crab cooked Vietnamese style.
From the drive from Bay Area is one hour depending on the traffic by car is something you need to consider a cold climate is to bring a thick coat and wear something warm.
Entering the Thang Long they request you to wear a face mask and can be removed after you've started your meal and put it on when leaving the restaurant. The servers are also wearing face mask when they approach your table to get what you would like to eat.
My family decided upon sharing one crab per two persons this way there is no way we can eat it by ourselves.
For those who are not into seafood there are other meals provided in their menu.
Dessert after eating a meal until you're really full to go home.
