Mom Violy and Carmina’s dining experience at Dean & DeLuca

Mom Violy told me she wanted to order the Paella Negra from Dean & Deluca. Carmina suggested we dine in since we’d never really tried their main courses, always just getting takeout with the cream puffs . Mom Violy agreed, and we arrived about thirty minutes before the lunch rush began. The service was very slow, even though we had ordered ahead of time. They mistakenly brought out the Paella Valenciana , despite Mom Violy repeating the order three times to the person who took it. It turned out the cook on duty made the error, even though it was written down clearly. We know Paella Negra takes a long time to prepare, which is why Mom Violy had requested it to be cooked beforehand. She wanted it as her main meal, but because of the mix-up and feeling hungry, she took a piece of Carmina’s Turkey Club Sandwich and asked for the bacon on the side. I didn’t expect the turkey to be just one piece, and the bread was toasted so hard that it removed one layer of the sandwich. Since ...

Turkey Sandwich Spread Recipe

Happy Thanksgiving to my family and friends living in the United States! You're celebrating with a big festival table color of fall.

I am eating turkey not roasted in an oven with stuffing and cranberry sauce.

My version is made by Bistol Chunk Turkey that I had made into a sandwich spread.

Bistol Chunk Turkey is sold for PHP 92.00 ($1.84) each can.

I bought it at Sage and Roshan 2017 Online Shop Shopee Philippines.

I was looking for turkey and was surprised they actually have a canned version like any other sandwich spread that we often see for tuna.

I did the same process in making my sandwich  by opening the canned turkey and drain off removing the broth that came with it.

The turkey is whole not something I had expected since this was my first time purchasing the product.

Turkey Sandwich Spread Recipe:
Ingredients:
  • 2 Canned - Bistol Chunk Turkey
  • Any brand of Mayonnaise
  • Black Pepper to taste
Preparing:
  1. Open the Bistol Chunk Turkey and drain the broth place in Tupperware
  2. Slice into small cubes

Mixing Ingredients:
  1. Add Mayonnaise
  2. Sprinkle Black Pepper
  3. Mix together

While mixing you will notice the pieces will start to form into small pieces no one will know it is turkey until you've made it into a sandwich.

There is no need to add any salt the broth that inside the canned has already added flavoring on the turkey.

I like how it taste just imagine ourselves eating turkey just when we can eat for Thanksgiving's with family and close friends.

This is close to me getting a bite of some turkey just in a sandwich spread version.

Enjoy!

Note:

I am not selling Bistol Chunk Turkey just wanted to try it out and see if it taste how it looks in the picture.
