Puto bumbong lovers, your favorite holiday treat just got a Wendy’s glow-up—ready for a twist on tradition?

It’s payday, the perfect time to treat ourselves, especially with the ever-changing weather in the Philippines. For fans of traditional Pinoy desserts , there’s now a new twist to enjoy your puto bumbong . Carmina ordered’  Wendy's Philippines ’ latest offering—the Putobumbong Frosty —available in two sizes: 6oz for 87.85 pesos ($1.49) or a tub for 125.35 pesos ($2.12).  She opted for the tub, skipping the smaller size entirely. The classic puto bumbong, made from purple sticky rice with grated cheese and latik sauce , gets an upgrade in Wendy’s version, which adds leche flan , rice crispies, and creamy vanilla frosty. A sweet treat perfect for those with a sweet tooth. Carmina preferred it served separately, as the puto bumbong is hard and chewy to eat. I guess I’m just used to having it without ice cream. That’s just my preference—others might enjoy it as it is. NOT SPONSORED. Check out my channel where you can find my videos at  Carmina Lifestyle YouTube Channel ...

Termites

I was doing my normal general cleaning in my room when I decided to clear out my clutter in my room. I just recently came home from my vacation to visit my family.

I had opened my attic that is located in my dressing room on the upper closet door. I saw these bugs that looked unfamiliar to me. It ate the boxes in my attic and that is when I realized what kind of insect it was. I had called, up some employees to help me out. They had sprayed vinegar to let it all die out from the items that was already destroyed.

I had to transfer to another bedroom next to me for two months.

We had termite’s inspection in my room and found out the main bedroom also was infected termites. There was a termite house inside the wood located on top of my windows. They had sprayed the termites.

The termite inspector showed me how they can detect whether there are termites or not. He said, if the wood is swollen there are termites inside. As he was inspecting I was able to find out he was talking about as he had inspected the entire house.

My mother in-law didn't understand the concept where it came from she had blame me for it. She said, it was my fault to begin with and I told her termites don't eat food. They only eat wood and paper. I couldn't win from her so I just walked away and explain to the person spraying to inform her I was saying was true.

My mother in-law no longer bothered me about it when she had found out it wasn't only my room that was affected. The termites started from the first floor from the dirt underneath the home. It just passed by a pole that was connected to my room.

The room I was staying temporary also had the same problem.

When your homes are old and made of wood termites lives inside. It takes one month in order to have the room repaired. I had to bear staying in a room I wasn't comfortable inside.

We had to stay outside as they had sprayed in the house for one hour.

We had found out we had to wait one month to have the spray kill all the termites in the house.

My mother in-law was upset and wanted her home to be repaired as soon as possible. It was no choice to just wait for one month or else it would have been just useless paying so much for service and destroy the wood.

She decided to wait and hold on in working in the rooms. We just stated planning what changes would be made in our room in the meantime we had to wait for the construction to be done.

I was told to transfer all my belongings in a plastic tumbler just in case the termites decide to come back again. I just hope it doesn't happen to me again.
