Last week I went grocery shopping and purchase some vegetables planning to make some chicken afritada, chicken curry and other dishes with meat. All a sudden I had skin allergies and was told to stay away from any meat and fish we have to figure what we can cook out of our meal. I was informed by my cousin Mariles not to eat any food that is fried. I don't have access of a oven in the house.  I have to think what I can eat with my vegetables. It is not bad eating healthy food when everyone else is enjoying their meal that has meat and seafood.  Carmina has known to be different the way she eats her meal.  To other people they feel they cannot eat a full meal without any meat or seafood. Carmina has a new challenge for herself by finding food that has no meat in her food due to having skin allergies. I need to find other food that is recommended for me to eat. Before entering the Din Tai Fung , I went to check what food is available for me to eat just that I would be aware I'd have something to eat a meal. It was my first time requesting for vegetable broth instead of using the pork broth often used on wonton noodle soup. Actually, the food was delicious having mushroom inside the wanton.  Mom Violy complained yet she liked the food as well just she had requested pork broth for her portion.   Carmina wanted to explore by trying something new to cook. I went to the grocery store while I was there doing some errands. I had random picked some French beans that was sold by weight and pre-packed in the fresh vegetables for 33.00 pesos ($0.59). Carmina's French Beans Recipe Ingredients: Pack of French Beans 1 Tbsp. Butter (any brand) 3 Cloves Garlic (chopped) Onion (chopped) Patis (based on your taste) 1/4 Cup Water Cooking: I used a small sauce pot added the butter let it melt adding the garlic, onion sauté.  Some people would boil the French beans ahead of time. I didn't do it that way since I felt it can be cooked by adding small amount of water.  I wanted my French beans to be crispy. What does a red flag mean on a dish that arrives?  It is letting you know it is spicy.  Carmina didn't pay attention to the tuna lasagna not until she had several bites until my mouth was on fire. It is not that spicy just wasn't expecting to have something spicy after eating the tuna lasagna. There are two branches inside Greenhills Shopping Center the main one and the second one where we had a meal recently informing how long it would take for the food to arrive. How do you want to celebrate your upcoming birthday? Carmina is lucky because she has a younger sister who is in town. Charina has informed me that she would like to celebrate my birthday among with family, relatives and friends.
