Mom Violy told me she wanted to order the Paella Negra from Dean & Deluca. Carmina suggested we dine in since we’d never really tried their main courses, always just getting takeout with the cream puffs . Mom Violy agreed, and we arrived about thirty minutes before the lunch rush began. The service was very slow, even though we had ordered ahead of time. They mistakenly brought out the Paella Valenciana , despite Mom Violy repeating the order three times to the person who took it. It turned out the cook on duty made the error, even though it was written down clearly. We know Paella Negra takes a long time to prepare, which is why Mom Violy had requested it to be cooked beforehand. She wanted it as her main meal, but because of the mix-up and feeling hungry, she took a piece of Carmina’s Turkey Club Sandwich and asked for the bacon on the side. Just Like the Young Ones the Seniors Think the Same
Some people think a senior shouldn't be thinking of purchasing an investment when it comes by a property for them.
People believe the negativity that a senior shouldn't invest on a property because to them it is a waste of time and they won't appreciate it.
Yes, Carmina did question Mom Violy why she wanted to invest in a property during our pandemic time. Mom Violy said it is not just for me. It is also for you when the time comes when I am not around. At least you have somewhere to live and the value of the property will value more on how much I had purchased.
Mom Violy felt being all alone she was thinking ahead of herself.
Being at home makes you think of your future and what dreams you have ahead of your own self. My Violy lives in a condominium which is difficult having someone living below and above you. The noise you complain and being a senior you become sensitive in all the noise your neighbor makes.
Even if the property has no home yet it gives Mom Violy a future and an excitement feeling inside to live to have a house built the way you want it.
You think about it in every person has a dream and in order to push forward is to do what you feel best for yourself.
You have the money people say yes it is easy to say and do.
In reality people save their money for a reason and to those people unbelievable until they see it is real.
How do you purchase a property during our pandemic?
Mom Violy went through her contacts of friends who had referred to Real Estate Broker that are legal. Carmina's sister went to look at her contacts for a lawyer to make sure the property was clear with no frauds.
We always want to make sure everything is legal when dealing a property in the Philippines or anywhere.
Mom Violy has ideas in her head how she wants her future home to look until that process comes Carmina will do a vlog to capture it all.
