Tired of the new rules, Carmina closed her Google Maps account — what pushed her over the edge?

It’s been months since Carmina last posted on her Google Maps. I started doing it just for fun, exploring new places to dine and travel, and sharing those spots with others. Back in 2017, I wasn’t even blogging yet. Over the years, I received numerous email updates about changes, but in September, the removal of followers on Google Maps felt particularly strange. There’s no point in complaining about it. I decided not to close my account, as it wasn’t an option, but I did delete all the photos I had contributed over the years. I have fond memories of seeing which photos were popular and had hoped to share them with you. It was surprising to see how many views my pictures had accumulated. While deleting them, I noticed that many restaurants and bakeries no longer exist, with some marked as unknown on the map. Growing up in California my mom would always cook our vegetables just steaming or boiling something that is simple to eat.

I know the asparagus in the Philippines are very skinny and yet expensive by how much it cost.

It doesn't stop Carmina to eat her favorite vegetable the way her mom had cooked it for her.

My family love eating Asparagus with Melted Butter and Mayo Dip Recipe it is easy to prepare at your home.

Asparagus with Melted Butter and Mayo Dip Recipe
Ingredients:
  • Fresh Asparagus
  • 1 Tbsp. Butter (any brand)
  • 1 Tbsp. Mayonnaise (any brand)
Cooking Instructions:
  • Clean asparagus with water and slice asparagus
  • Boil water in a pan add asparagus to cook for a short time
  • Set aside the asparagus on a plate.
Dip:
  1. Place the butter in a microwave bowl cook for 1 minute until melted add Mayonnaise mix well.
