Kalabasa is a favorite vegetable cooked in our home by Manang V who decide which dish she plans to serve us by her creation made daily in our home.
This is an easy soup to make as your comfort food when there are days you feel lazy and just want to eat soup for the day like our days when it has been raining, we want something warm in our stomach.
Kalabasa with Shredded Chicken Soup
Ingredients:
- 1/2 - Kalabasa squash (peel, remove seeds and slice into cubes)
- 1 - Cup Shredded chicken
- 2 - Cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 - Onion (chopped)
- 1 - Knorr Chicken Cube
- 3 - Cup Water
Cooking Instructions:
- In a pot pour small amount of cooking oil when hot add garlic, onion sauté together add shredded chicken and water.
- Add chicken cube and let it dissolve in the water until it is boiled
- Add kalabasa once tender it is ready to be served in a bowl
