Longanisa is a popular breakfast cooked in the Philippines it is known as sausages. We normally eat this with garlic rice, sunny side up egg and sliced tomato or some eat it inside bread as a sandwich.
I have a lot of friends who call me up asking how to cook longanisa and I will teach you the best to way to cook it.
Cooking Instructions
First Step:
- In a frying pan add a little amount of water let it boil added longanisa cook each sides cook for short time.
Second Step:
- Strain the water and remove the longaisa from the pan.
- Separate each longainsa by using scissors.
Third Step:
- In a frying pan add cooking oil once it is hot add the longainsa and cook it until it turns brown.
Fourth Step:
- You will begin to poke a hole by using a fork, lower the temperature and watch out the oil from the inside doesn't hit you try holding a lid to prevent splashing at you.
- Cook it until it begins to be fully cooked from each side.
