Mom Violy has always loved dining inside Rustica a Filipino restaurant found out they have moved to a different location. Tita Edna has informed Mom Violy it is now open since July 13, 2025, located at Lot 7, Block 3 inside Acropolis North Subdivision, Barangay Sumacab Sur, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija. It is not hard to find seeing a restaurant center of attraction upon entering inside Acropolis North Subdivision. There is a lot of parking at Rustica Restaurant  if you decided to come by car. A person had come by with an umbrella informed us where to park our car. Mom Violy asked the person if there was a table for four being it was lunch time. The person came back said, yes there is a table for party of four. The disadvantages are that the main restaurant is on the second floor. The seniors who I was with complained because they would have to walk on the staircase saying why not on the ground floor being the party room held for events. Grilled Tilapia or Bangus Recipe



This is a popular dish when you feel like eating something healthy for a change you can either wrap this up in banana leaf or aluminum foil of your choice.

You can either have it grilled or place in your oven whichever is convenient.

You can use any fish you prefer but we use either boneless bangus (milk fish) or tilapia.

Ingredients:
  • 1 - Choice of Medium size fish (clean and remove scales)
  • 2 - Pieces Ripe Tomato (chopped)
  • 1 - Onion (chopped)
  • 2 - Tsp Ginger (minced)
  • 1 - Tbsp Calamansi or Lemon Juice
  • Salt 
  • Black Pepper
Preparing the Fish:
  1. Slit the fish until you reach the bone.
  2. Add 1 tsp of salt on both sides by rubbing with your hands
  3. Leave for 15 minutes for the salt to absorb to the fish.
Step 1:
  • In a bowl add tomato, onion, ginger and calamansi or lemon juice
  • Add salt and black pepper
  • Mix well
Step 2:
  • Add Step 1 and place inside the cavity of the fish.
  • Rub cooking oil on the fish prevent fish sticky to the aluminum foil or banana leaf.
Step 3:
  • Wrap the fish in aluminum foil or banana leaf seal tightly by folding both ends secure.
Step 4:

Grilling:
Cook for 10 to 12 minutes each side on a charcoal.

Oven:
Preheat oven: 370-degree Fahrenheit
Bake for 25 minutes
Remove from oven, fold foil on each side to expose top skin and broil for 4 to 15 minutes.
