From private practice to public premiere: Carmina’s first YouTube debut changes everything.

Every day, I would join Lyn’s livestream after being active and chatting with others who were also watching. Lyn once advised us to premiere long videos since they count toward public watch hours, just like livestreams. She suggested they be over ten minutes, but to me, that felt too short premieres felt more like livestreams where you entertain viewers for one, two, or even three hours straight. Recently, while on vacation, I decided to try my first premiere since my video was an hour and thirty-six minutes long. At first, I was nervous as a newbie, unsure if it was the right move, but sometimes you have to step out of your comfort zone to see what might help with YouTube watch hours . Easy Sukiyaki Recipe


In our household we have a day when we serve just Japanese food instead of eating outside in a restaurant. We're a lot when you combine each family member together at the dinner table.

Our menu is usually the lazy sushi, shrimp tempura, fresh tuna, salmon and sukiyaki.

Easy Sukiyaki Recipe:

Ingredients:
  • 1 Package Vermicelli Noodles
  • 4 Pieces Dry Shiitake mushroom (sliced thinly)
  • 1 Package tofu (slice in cubes)
  • 1/2 Napa Cabbage
  • 1/2 Kilo sirloin cut or tenderloin cut
  • 1 Bottle Sukiyaki Broth
  • Beef bones
  • 1 Onion (slice in the middle)
  • Green Onions
Tip:
  • You can buy sukiyaki broth it will look like this found in the Japanese grocery store or Asian Grocery near you

Step 1:
  • In a medium pot place water half way and add beef bones
  • Add slice onion
  • Let it boil
Step 2:
  • Soak dry shiitake mushroom in hot water in a bowl until soft and tender
  • Slice thinly
  • Set aside
Step 3:
  • Soak Vermicelli noodles in a bowl with water
  • Soak until soft 
  • Strain
  • Set aside
Step 4:
  • In a medium pot 
  • Add little amount of oil
  • Add beef of your choice
  • Saute
  • Add mushroom, cabbage, sukiyaki broth and beef stock
  • Let it boil
Step 5:
  • Add Vermicelli Noodles
  • Add tofu
  • Add green onion
Step 6:
  • Best to serve when still hot.
