Carmina says Bebang’s halo-halo is summer in a spoon — but is it the real deal or just pretty colors in a cup?

Since last year, Mom Violy and Carmina had been wanting to try the much-talked-about  Bebang's Halo-Halo , but even when we passed by, the timing was never right. Mom Violy kept saying she’d wait until a branch opened closer to us. Then Becky told Carmina there was one along her commute route to work. The best part was that the Tomas Morato branch in Quezon City had just opened. When we arrived at CTTM Square , we found plenty of restaurants on the second floor. While checking the menu, we let the customers behind us order first. Mom Violy asked them for recommendations, and they suggested the Presidential for first timers. Unlike other places, Bebang’s Halo-Halo doesn’t have size options—everything comes in a standard size, making ordering easier. Seniors and PWDs get a discount per order, and you’re given something that lights up when your halo-halo is ready for pickup. Service was quick, so the wait wasn’t long at all. Each order comes in its own green plastic bag with a table...

Helping seniors without Your Reach

Helping seniors without Your Reach

The reason why I say helping seniors without your reach when you hear from your mom her best friend had an accident in her home. There is no one living with her and you worry for her the person who considers you just like a daughter she doesn't have.

Remember I've mentioned to you I have mothers who are not blood related and feel I am like their adopted daughter.

I am honor for that and reason why I worry for them being far from me to help them.

I have close friends who are like my family we are not blood related. We've come far to be a family since we've known each other since my college years.

My friend lives in the same area of my Aunt who needs assistance. The best part they met each other they are not completely strangers.

My friend had offered on her day off to help to run errands and accompany to her doctor's appointment.

I mentioned it to my Aunt and she was grateful for our suggestion I gave her a phone number to contact my friend.

The best part we reach out to people we don't live in the same country making sure they are safe.

Too bad I am not there to drive her around to take care of her.

Although I can ask my friends to do it for me that is what you call reaching out to people who are out of your reach but find a solution for everything.

My friend and I are blessed to help people who are around us for a simple gesture is what makes us happy.
