Tired of the new rules, Carmina closed her Google Maps account — what pushed her over the edge?

It’s been months since Carmina last posted on her Google Maps. I started doing it just for fun, exploring new places to dine and travel, and sharing those spots with others. Back in 2017, I wasn’t even blogging yet. Over the years, I received numerous email updates about changes, but in September, the removal of followers on Google Maps felt particularly strange. There’s no point in complaining about it. I decided not to close my account, as it wasn’t an option, but I did delete all the photos I had contributed over the years. I have fond memories of seeing which photos were popular and had hoped to share them with you. It was surprising to see how many views my pictures had accumulated. While deleting them, I noticed that many restaurants and bakeries no longer exist, with some marked as unknown on the map. Sinigang na Kunduli sa Miso Recipe

 


Manang V teased me saying she is cooking my favorite it is alien our dinner is kunduli it is the family of hito in English is catfish cooked in miso soup only difference it is a white fish the hito is color black.

Manang V was cooking it I asked her if she also eat kunduli she said no. I asked why she said it looks scary look like a snake.

I asked her even before you have never tried tasting it.

Manang V said, yes, I only taste the soup based but never the fish.

I teased Manang V than that is also your favorite food since you always tease me when you’re cooking hito.

Sinigang na Kanduli sa Miso Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 2 - Fresh Kanduli Fish
  • 1 - Sinigang Mix
  • 1 - Onion (quarters)
  • 4 - Ripe Tomato (quarters)
  • 1/4 Kilo - Mustard Leaves
  • 3 pieces - Long green chili peppers
  • 8 Cups - Water
  • 2 - Tbsp - fish sauce (patis)
  • 8 Cups - Water
  • 1 Cup - Fresh Miso

Cleaning Kunduli before cooking:
  1. Place the kunduli in a bowl rub salt on the skin of the fish to remove the slimy feel on the skin than rinse it with water until the kunduli has no more smell.
  2. In case the kunduli still has a smell you can try rubbing vinegar and salt combined together to rinse with water.
Cooking Instructions
Step 1:

  • In a pot pour small amount of cooking oil add the onion, tomato and patis sauté
  • Add the water to the pot wait till it boils

  • Add kunduli boil for 20 minutes

Step 2:
  • Add sinigang mix, fresh miso and cook for 10 minutes
Step 3:
  • Add mustard leaves, green chili peppers and cook for 10 minutes
  • Ready to eat and serve in a bowl
