My mom loves cooking and having friends come over when I was young she always had friends come over and stop by during dinner time. They would pass by as like we're like a restaurant and leave afterwards to go back to their home.

My mom loves cooking for other people who had appreciated what she had cooked every time and this is what I learned from my mom her cooking.

Mom's Secret Caldereta Recipe
Ingredient:
  • 10 lbs Chunk Roast Steak
  • 1/2 Cup Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 Cup Lemon Juice or Orange Juice
  • 1 Tbsp Fish Sauce (Patis)
  • 1 Tsp Tabasco Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Garlic (ground)
  • 1 Tsp Black Pepper (ground)
Step 1:
  • Mix all liquid ingredients and all solid ingredients 
  • Mix well and add the meat
  • Marinate over night
Step 2:

Sauteing Ingredients:
  • 1/4 Cups Olive Oil
  • 1 Tsp Garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 Cup Red Pepper (chopped)
  • 1 Cup Onion (chopped)
  • 1/2 Cup Cheddar Cheese (shredded)
  • 1 Can Tomato Paste
  • 1/2 Cup Liverwurst
  • Beef Stock
  • Laurel Leaves
Step 3:
  • Brown beef pieces in a pot
  • Remove all excess fat and set aside
Step 4:
  • Heat oil in the pan add garlic, onion, red pepper and tomato paste
  • Add meat and remaining marinating sauce and liverwurst
  • Add laurel leaves
  • Add beef stock
  • Cook for one hour to two depending when the meat is cooked.
Optional:
  • Add 1 Can Coconut Milk (gata)
Ready to serve!
